The Concept

Located on King William Street, on a prime site in the heart of the City of London, just off London Bridge and adjacent to Grade II* listed Fishmongers’s Hall, 33 Central is a new, eleven-story commercial building providing Grade A, flexible, open plan office space flooded with natural light. The 21,000 sqm (226,000 sq ft) development can boast a double height main entrance facing King William Street and an expansive roof garden which houses over 40 different species of wild plants and flowers native to Britain and, at the same time, offers spectacular views of the River Thames, St. Paul’s Cathedral, 20 Fenchurch Street and The Shard. The scheme incorporates a series of environmentally friendly features such as high performance photovoltaic units located at roof level, FSC timber for all furniture, strict measures to reduce water consumption and extensive planting on the roof top garden to create a biodiverse environment friendly to bees and insects. The building has achieved an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating.
