/ Lead Concept Design

Do you have knowledge and experience in façade construction coupled with technical and commercial skills? Are you looking for a challenging position in the top tier of construction involving international travel? Then we are looking for you! 

 

What will the role involve?
As Lead Concept Design you will work closely with our sales managers, acting as the link between clients – project developers, architects, main contractors – and our tender team. You will be able to translate technical and commercial requirements into strategic design concepts, contributing to creative, innovative solutions for the organisation.

 

Together with the sales managers and tender team, you will be responsible for drawing up a strategy for early design stages, design assists and full tenders, including concept design, purchasing, production, logistics and installation. You will then lead the process to ensure strategy is followed, advising on adjustments as necessary.

 

What qualities and competencies are needed?
/ Technical knowledge of façade construction and several years’ experience in the façade industry (e.g. as a project manager, design manager or consultant).
/ Strong commercial skills.
/ Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for connecting with people.
/ Ability to use analytical skills to advise clients and translate their requirements into a strategy for the tender team to follow.
/ Ability to identify market trends and innovations at an early stage.
/ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
/ Enthusiasm for working internationally and travel.
/ Proficiency in English – Dutch is an advantage.
/ Your own network within the façade market would be an advantage.
/ Ambition to become a real specialist through this role.
