2023 CTBUH Awards Winners announced

November 2023 - The Council of Tall Building and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) announced the Overall Category Winners projects at the annual international conference “Humanizing High Density-People, Nature & the Urban Realm” held in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

The Spiral, a mixed-use skyscraper located in New York City designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and cladded by the Permasteelisa Group, was awarded as the category winner for ‘Best Tall Building 300-399 meters’ 2023. The Spiral is notable for its innovative design, which aims to provide ample natural light and views for its occupants, as well as its sustainability features, such as a rainwater collection system and energy-efficient systems.
We’d like to congratulate the owner and architect who have envisioned this amazing skyskcaper, that has received this prestigious award.

In addition to this award, The Spiral and other four buildings featuring façades designed and engineered, produced, and installed by our Group received Awards of Excellence in the 2023 CTBUH program.

These awards confirm once more the ability of the Permasteelisa Group, with its three brands Permasteelisa, Gartner, and Scheldebouw, to design and build innovative and avant-garde architectural works alongside the world’s greatest in contemporary architecture, by using advanced technology and eco-sustainable solutions.

The Permasteelisa Group congratulates all the winners, and the CTBUH for organizing such a prestigious conference.
