Shard Place was designed to complement The Shard and stands at a third of its height, elevated above a vibrant public space. Both buildings have façades created by Scheldebouw.

The building represents the third phase of the redevelopment of the London Bridge Station area. The slender residential tower contains naturally ventilated luxury apartments alongside retail and leisure spaces, plus a single-glazed winter garden that offers naturally heated and cooled spaces.
